We run Global MOM to MOM, a local parenting community in Japan, with about 700 families living across the country — from rural towns to big cities.
Our members love cultural exchange and connecting with families from around the world.
At this meetup, your family will meet and spend time with local families from our community.
Kids can play together and experience everyday Japanese childhood through their new local friends. Depending on the families joining, activities may include things like origami, kendama, koma, Japanese games, or learning some Japanese words and phrases from local kids.
There’s no formal program — the idea is simply to play, talk, and connect naturally with local families.
[How It Works]
1. Book & Pay
Reserve your spot and complete your payment online.
2. Join the Group Chat
We’ll create a private Facebook or WhatsApp group chat for participating families.
3. Get to Know Each Other Before the Meetup
As more families join, everyone can introduce themselves and share a little about their kids and interests.
So when you meet in Japan, you’ll already know a little about the local families and kids you’re meeting!

1:00 PM — Meet at JR Morinomiya Station (North exit)
Walk to Osaka Castle Park together and enjoy playing, chatting, and spending time with local families from our community.
3:00 PM — The official meetup ends.
