We’d love to welcome you and your family into our community and help you connect with local families during your stay.
Global MOM to MOM is a diverse parenting community where families living in Japan connect, share, and grow together.
Founded in 2019, our community has grown to include around 700 families across Japan.
Children range from 0 to 15 years old, and many families are bilingual in English and Japanese, making it easy for new members to feel comfortable and connected.

For Children
Children can join a variety of fun and educational Zoom events in English, including:
Art, STEAM, Crafts, Cooking, Dance, Video Games, Show & Tell, Japanese & World Culture, and Welcome TOMODACHI (meet & chat with Japanese kids).
Your children can start making friends with children in Japan even before arriving — and stay connected after going home.
For Parents
We also offer online events especially for parents in English, including:
- Montessori Education — Sessions led by qualified Montessori teachers
- Motherhood & Wellbeing Circle —A monthly English session led by a psychologist, therapist, educator, and mother based in Kobe, where mothers can connect, share their experiences, and learn practical tools for wellbeing.
- Social Gatherings — Relax, chat, and make friends with other parents in the community
Parents can also enjoy learning, sharing, and building friendships while their children connect with the world. Once you join our community, we’ll send you all the details you need to access our Zoom events.
🌏 A Worldschooling Hub Now Open
A Global Community Hub for Families in Japan (Fudoin Temple in Takarazuka) Starting April 2026 🌸
Nestled in the natural beauty of Japan, this temple in Takarazuka opens as a global community hub for families—a place where people from around the world can gather, connect, and experience life in Japan together.
Whether you are a worldschooling family, traveling through Japan, or simply looking for meaningful cultural experiences, this space welcomes you.
From the fresh blossoms of spring, the deep greens of summer, and the vibrant colors of autumn, to the quiet stillness of winter when the landscape turns pure white with snow—here, you can fully experience the rhythm of nature.
This temple is also home to a garden run by Global MOM to MOM, a parenting community of over 700 families across Japan.
Local children naturally gather here, creating warm and authentic connections with visiting families. Throughout the year, you can enjoy a wide range of experiences: cooling off under waterfalls in summer, playing in the pool, and participating in cultural activities such as calligraphy, tea ceremony, ninja experiences, and traditional Japanese sweets making. You can even wear kimono and immerse yourself in Japanese culture.
Surrounded by nature, the space also offers opportunities for camping, BBQs, and hiking—giving both children and adults the freedom to explore, relax, and reconnect. This is not just a place for learning. It is a place to experience life, build connections, and feel at home in Japan—even if only for a short time.
