Nice to meet you! 

Welcome to Tokyo! I am a mom of two daughters, who are 10&8. We live near Yoyogi park and often go out on a picnic there on a nice sunny day. It is right next to Meiji Shrine. 

In the middle of the forest, Meiji Jingu's buildings have an air of tranquility distinct from the surrounding city. Visitors can take part in typical Shinto activities, such as making offerings at the main hall, buying charms and amulets, or writing out one's wish on an ema.
Meiji Jingu is one of Japan's most popular shrines. In the first days of the New Year, the shrine regularly welcomes more than three million visitors for the year's first prayers (hatsumode), more than any other shrine or temple in the country. During the rest of the year, traditional Shinto weddings can often be seen taking place there.
Once you get out of this area, there are Harajuku and Omotesando areas where you can enjoy shopping and going to cute cafes. I can arrange where to go around according to your requests. There are some kid-friendly lunch restaurants or maybe we can have picnic at the Yoyogi park if it’s nice weather.
We would love to see you and your family and take you around the area of central Tokyo, a city with history and also new trends.
