Play with Local Kids at Asukayama Park 🇯🇵🌳
At this meetup, families visiting Japan will meet and spend time with local Japanese families from the Global MOM to MOM community, a parenting community of around 700 families across Japan.
Kids can play, chat, and enjoy Japanese activities together while experiencing everyday childhood in Japan through their new local friends.

We organize and coordinate the experience to connect your family with local Japanese families and children.
Private Group Chat Before the Meetup
Before the meetup, we’ll create a private Facebook or WhatsApp group where families can introduce themselves and share their children’s ages, interests, and favorite things. This way, you can start getting to know each other before meeting in Japan.
Local Welcome & Support
On the day, one of our local members will meet you at the station and walk with you to the park, making it easy and stress-free to join.
Japanese Play & Cultural Exchange
Enjoy origami, kendama, koma (Japanese spinning tops), Japanese games, and more together with local kids — a fun and natural way to experience Japanese culture.
Connect with Japanese Kids Online
You are also welcome to participate in Global MOM to MOM’s online events!
We regularly host a variety of Zoom activities where kids can meet and interact with children in Japan, including Japanese lessons, cooking, TOMODACHI (meet & chat with Japanese kids), Japanese culture, dance, video games, Show & Tell, and more.
Your kids can start making connections with children in Japan even before arriving — and stay connected after going home.
