Global Family to Family connects visiting families with local families living in Japan. Whenever possible, we match families with children close in age so the kids can naturally play, talk, and spend time together while the parents connect too.
During your visit, you’ll cook and enjoy a Japanese meal together, share everyday moments, and experience what family life in Japan is really like.
This isn’t a cooking class or a typical tourist experience. You’ll be spending time with a real local family in their home — cooking, eating, talking, and letting the children simply enjoy being together.
Before your visit, we’ll create a group chat with you and your host family. You can introduce yourselves, share your children’s interests, discuss food preferences or dietary restrictions, and get to know each other before you meet.
